Charlotte and Rayen here, we are content creators that travel the world, and hope to inspire others by sharing our digital diary.

How did we meet?

By doing what we love the most, traveling! Charlotte was on vacation in Bonaire and Rayen was visiting his mother in Bonaire. A small island in the Dutch Caribbean, can you guess what happened?

We remember the day like it was yesterday, Bonaire is not really a party island but there are some fun things to do. Like on Thursday night you can enjoy salsa night at Cuba bar/restaurant. There is where we spotted each other, and we had eye contact. Do you believe in love at first sight? Well we couldn't stop smiling at each other, and then Rayen made the move. We started talking and after that we danced the whole night till the party was over.

The day after(a very short night) we wanted to see each other again, so we decided to rent a boat, and we navigated around the whole island. We didn't stop talking!

The day after Charlotte had to leave because her vacation was coming to an end. Rayen stayed for 2 more weeks with his mother in Bonaire, and Charlotte was patiently waiting in Belgium. We had already booked our first trip together and even planned it before Rayen got home haha!

So three days after he got home we traveled to Tenerife, Spain! Since that time we knew what our lives would look like. Traveling the world together! <3

Our three highlights :

  1. Indonesia

Our favorite place in the world is Indonesia, especially Bali. Asia in general is just spectacular, but let’s talk about Bali. The culture, the people, the food, everything is perfectly splendid! And let’s not talk about the prices, everything is so cheap! The food, hotels, bars, etc. are all super cheap, and you can get wonderful deals!

We have seen around 80% of Bali, and are exploring new parts of Indonesia now, like Sulawesi & Flores. If you want to check our adventure, check it out on our Instagram

2. Italy

Just like in Indonesia, the people are very friendly and open-minded. Besides that, the food is absolutely delicious. It’s very difficult to go dieting in this country, haha!

The landscapes are outstanding as well, as it varies so much. From snowy mountains, to the most beautiful beaches with insanely clear water. The villages and big cities are super charming and filled with so much history.

3. Turkey

Our second favorite place in the world is Turkey at the moment. We love the diversity that the country has to offer. And great place for Hair transplant, I mean, look at Rayen’s hair.

Hi everyone, my name is Charlotte, some people call me Charlie. I’m 29 years young, born in Belgium where I lived in a small village for almost 23 years. I moved to Rotterdam, The Netherlands for Rayen. After 4 years, I have to say I like the big-city life much more, so many more opportunities and so much more to see and explore!

I’m the photographer and photo editor of the two. When I was 12 years old, I started posing as a model. After 12 years I decided to turn my modelling career into our travel business, and now one year later I can say that this was the best decision ever! Posing all over the world is so much more fun!

Back at school, I studied Art and Graphic Design, the perfect combination for the lifestyle we live in! I loved to be creative since I was a little child.

As a child, I spent most of my time at the horse riding school, where I had my horse, and we had 10 beautiful years together! I still dream of having my horse one day.

My favorite part of the world is Asia, Thailand stole my heart in the summer of 2019, ever since we wanted to go back, but that wasn’t possible because of the pandemic in 2020.

I’m quite a calm person but with a very open mind, I like to explore new cultures, experiences, and tastes. I’m not into spicy food, but I’m willing to take the risk to experience new tastes.

Charlotte

I'm Rayen and 34 years old. I was born in Suriname, but I grew up on an island in the Caribbean called Bonaire since I was two and lived there for 17 years. So, you might say I’m more a “Boneriano” than a Surinamer.

I used to be a teacher before being a content creator, I gave PE-lessons to students between the age of 16 to 25 years that’s the reason as well why we lived in the Netherlands.

Because Bonaire didn’t have many options for studies, I had to go abroad. That’s how I ended up in Rotterdam! Living in Rotterdam opened up a whole world for me. Living on a small island with 17K people to a big city of 600K+ people. Apart from that, I started to discover different places, different cultures and, let’s not forget different delicious FOODS.

Also, living in Europe gave me the opportunity to travel to different places more easily than on an island, going to the neighboring countries was never so easy. Only a 1-hour drive and BAM you’re in Germany or Belgium. The more I traveled through Europe, the more I noticed how much I love traveling.

 I’m also a very enthusiastic person, always open to helping people and always ready for a new adventure on this beautiful planet!
